Assistant Manager (Physical Therapist)
Full Time - 1st shift
Job Summary:
Provide direction and supervision for employees
engaged in administering a variety of rehabilitation services including
but not limited to physical, occupational, speech and massage therapy.
Closely monitors growth initiatives and referral patterns and assists in
implementing necessary strategies as needed. Schedules clinical
staff and ensures coverage for therapy services. Assists in staff
development, performance plans and maintains competencies for rehab
staff. Assists in PI projects by gathering, monitoring and analyzing the
data. Provide physical therapy treatments as necessary.
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized college or
university majoring in Physical Therapy. North Carolina state license
required. Considerable knowledge of physical therapy terminology,
procedures, and techniques. Thorough skill in performing physical
therapy procedures. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, physicians
and hospital personnel. Considerable judgment required in working with
patients and performing treatments. At least three years of progressive
supervisory experience in rehabilitation.
