DESCRIPTION
The Rehab. Supervisor will be responsible for assisting the Director of
Rehab. In coordinating the day to day operation of the Rehab Dept. and
serving as a liaison between PT, OT, and ST staff. Responsibilities
include performing screenings, evaluations, restorative and maintenance
treatment for residents as department needs dictate; provide general
supervision to all rehabilitative staff; assists Director of Rehab. In
developing and revising policies and procedures, job descriptions and
documentation tools for rehab, and other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Requirements include Bachelor or Masters in PT or OT;
NYS PT or OT license; minimum three years clinical experience preferably
with adult population and in skilled nursing facility; minimum one year
supervisory experience preferred and must be able to effectively operate
all equip in the rehab department
